Phoenix, AZ -- After losing five straight games by a total of 10 runs, the Indian Hills Falcons got back on the winning track on Friday, picking up a pair of victories.

The Falcons pounded out 13 hits on the way to an 11-0 rout of Pro Train and followed that up with a 5-2 win against Chandler-Gilbert in a game in which IHCC had 14 hits.

Adam Deneke and Brennan Floss combined on a two-hit shutout in the game with Pro Train.  Deneke went the first five innings and gave up two hits and struck out four.  Floss hurled two hitless innings with a walk and three Ks.

The Falcons came alive with four runs in the 3rd and added three runs in the 4th and three more in the 7th.

The game with Chandler-Gilbert was a pitcher's duel for six innings with neither team able to score.  Jake Stalzer started for IHCC and was lifted with two outs in the sixth after allowing only four hits and fanning six.

Matt Lashlee took over and went the rest of the way.  Both of the runs he permitted were unearned.  Lashlee got the victory when the Falcons snapped a two-all tie with a run in the 8th and then added two insurance runs in the 9th.

Dario Polanco doubled home Edgar Lebron with the go-ahead run in the 8th inning and Kevin Cicali singled home a run in the 9th and Lebron added a sacrifice fly.
