Winning Streak at Eight for IHCC

West Burlington, IA -- Indian Hills coach Cam Walker used the occasion of a non-league game against Southeastern CC to give his top two starting pitchers some work and the Falcons' offense came through with 14 hits in a 9-2 win at SCC on Saturday night.

Cashtyn DeLeeuw went the first three innings for IHCC and Jordan Piche pitched the next four frames.  They combined to shut out the BlackHawks on only three hits and struck out 10.  Piche was credited with the win, his 9th of the spring.

Leading the offensive attack for the Falcons were Tyler Hermann, who had three hits and Jeremy Delgado, Levi Grassley and Daryl Velez with two each.  Yuliecer Arias, Taylor Ostrich and Grassley scored two runs apiece.

The Falcons are now 29-20 and will play a conference doubleheader at Muscatine CC on Wednesday.
