Falcons Lose Non-League Game to Iowa Central

Centerville -- The Indian Hills baseball team failed to keep the momentum gained from the previous day's conference sweep against Muscatine CC and got drilled by Iowa Central CC, 11-1, in a non-conference matchup at Pat Daugherty Field on Thursday.

The Tritons pounded out 14 hits against three IHCC pitchers with starter Kyle Maldonado taking the loss. He gave up five runs in the first four innings and relievers Francisco Quinonez and Dylan Settle were charged with the final six ICCC runs.

Indian Hills had only seven hits in the nine-inning game and all of them were singles.

Indian Hills will play a four-game conference series at Marshalltown this weekend with two games both Saturday and Sunday.
